Easter Contemplations

Found this on YouTube when searching for a way to begin to explain to my son why we celebrate Easter. Real answers from kids. So precious, funny, yet profound, too. Enjoy!

And here's the link for those who can't watch it the other way (thanks Cat!)

Have a blessed Easter, everybody! :)

  4. Hi Kay,
I am commenting here for the 1st time, I found & read your whole blog from beginning to end about 2 weeks ago. I was waiting for a new post so I could comment & say I love your writing! I hope you are feeling somewhat better in your pregnancy, I have a 6 month old so I remember pregnancy well & know how utterly exhausting it is especially those 1st 3 months! My Dr told me that in the 1st trimester your body is doing the equivalent of climbing a mountain and back each day! No wonder we get super tired but hopefully once the 2nd trimester is underway you will get a burst of energy! I am sending prayers your way for nausea free days !
    Love,
    Scarlet ; )

  5. Oh my gosh that is so stinking adorable! I loved the ship and them yelling " Jesus. Jesus" Of course they meant it a different way than I would have!

    Hope you are feeling stronger.

    1. I know, right? I like their food at the Last Supper, and Jesus teaching them about Christmas and Valentine's Day, haha.
Not yet stronger, but hoping soon I will be! :)

  6. That was very cute! My favorites are 4 and 5 year olds. They don't have pat answers yet and speak from the heart. While they often get it very wrong, in spirit they have it all right.

    Hope you are doing well.

    1. Yes they're so adorable! Can't wait to see what my son will say when he gets to be that age.
Honestly, every day's tough but it's for a good cause ;)

  8. Happy Easter! I can still wish you that, because we celebrate for 50 days.

I do so enjoy reading your posts. I looked through your posts and I didn't see that you had even been nominated for a Liebster award, so I put you down as one of my nominees. Whether you want to pass on the award or not, I wanted you to know I appreciate what you write and the ups and downs of life that you write about. Thanks! My blog is here if you'd like to participate, but even if you don't I still enjoy reading your blog.

  9. Happy Easter! I wish ours was 50 days too lol. Thank you for what you said about my blog, you're so sweet, and for the award, I'll try to respond soon. I actually was nominated by Cole too, but have been too sick from pregnancy issues to carry it on. Hopefully though I'll feel better in time to still participate. :)
