So I kind of thought I wasn't going to be participating in "Ask Your Questions Month", because this March has undoubtedly been one of the most stressful months we've ever been through. But what can I say? Peer pressure got to me! And would you believe Jay has agreed to answer questions?! Yeah, I'm still in shock over it, too!
So...if there's any questions you've been dying to ask him (or me), even if you've never commented before, don't be shy! This is a once in an ever opportunity to read his perspective on things! I'm not nervous at all to find out how he answers, really I'm not... ;)
Hi Kay. I don't think I have commented yet but love your insights.
ReplyDeleteMy questions are... Is there anything you know now that would have changed the way you did things in the beginning?
Do you have any advice for a new HoH?
Thanks to both of you for doing this. My Alex has agreed to do the same thing so if you have any questions for us you can visit my blog. Thanks again!
Jay - I would like to see Kay win the Network Challenge of 7 Days without any punishments - do you have any ideas on how to help her achieve this goal? The benefits would be good for her as well as you both as a couple.
ReplyDeleteWhat is one thing you like to do with your wife that you haven't had time to do in awhile? Can you both make the time to do it?
I would like to know from some of the HOHs: Were you consistant or resistant from the start? How long did it take to become consistant and more confident in your role as HOH? Thank You, Belle L.
ReplyDeleteOh, the things I could ask Jay! Hmmmmmm........ (WEG) I will have to think on this one for a bit!
ReplyDeleteNo, no, no, I don't like where your mind is going, lol! You better be nice, and don't even think of throwing me under the bus! I mean it, HFM, I'll get you back if you try! ;)
DeleteBWAHAHAHA!!!!! We've been over this i believe! I'M NOT AFRAID OF YOU!
DeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteJay, we know that Kay struggles when boundaries aren't pretty firmly in place, when she's been working, when you've decided to take a break...those kinds of things, lol! But she's also made tons of progress. From your perspective, what changes/accomplishments/big areas of growth have you seen and what has made you really proud of her?
Ohhhhh (rubbing hands together) aaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm blank. I have no idea what to ask...I need more than one question I need a whole phone call or something. Those two statements were totally conflicting weren't they? I've recently blogged about what it is I hope to achieve by using ttwd and what it is I find appealing. I know we are all different but I think lots of women who want to be involved in this lifestyle would agree with me. Can you talk about the what the appeal might be for men?
ReplyDeleteThank you!
What was the worst spanking that you ever had, what was it for and what did you HOH do?
ReplyDeletec
Hey guys, trying to get the answers to these questions while it's still March, lol, but unfortunately Jay was called into work today so the time we set aside late last night to go over this has to wait. Grrr! :(
ReplyDeleteJay,
ReplyDeleteDo you consider yourself consistent or not? If you are not, do you think it might be hard for Kay to know where she stands? It might be difficult for a HOH to fully understand, but having a spanking "hanging over our heads" is very unsettling. Not knowing would be anxiety-producing, at least for me and those like me. If I'm safe and do not have a punishment looming, or any discipline at all, it makes me feel happy and I actually feel proud of myself. If I have trouble looming, I am anxious and upset and just want it over. But it's not a guessing game for us, I always know. Is it a guessing game for Kay?
I'm sure you encourage Kay a lot, and thank her for her submission. My husband does this often and it means so much to me, and affects me positively. How do you think your encouragement affects your wife, and how could you find ways to encourage her even further?
Lastly, just wanted to thank you for being willing to answer these. My husband does this once in awhile but it takes time and thought, and it's challenging. So thank you. You seem like a good guy to me :)

What are the negatives to having a DD lifestyle?
